Windows 10 can download and install all drivers by itself. Apparently, It sounds great. But the fact is that It wastes your time and sometimes creates a plethora of problems.
Such as You have no control over adjusting brightness and no audio problem and on top of that When you manually try to install the required drivers, You get an error, this driver can’t be installed. I have gone through the same situation many times.
Aforementioned problems aside, After the clean install, Windows 10 uses the internet to download and install drivers and updates. Computer and the internet become very slow.
It would be no exaggeration to say that Windows 10 requires a whole day to finish all the procedure.
You are unfortunate If you use a limited internet connection. Windows 10 consumes your data to download drivers and updates without letting you know.
In this tutorial, I will be trying to give you a solution to get rid of these problems. This article will help you manually install Windows 10 drivers to avoid any errors.

Download And Store Drivers Before Clean Install Windows
The best thing you can do to avoid wasting time is downloading and storing drivers before clean install Windows 10. At least video, audio, WI-Fi and ethernet drivers.
Because sometimes Wi-Fi or ethernet adapter does not work after clean install Windows and you can’t use the internet. Otherwise, you will have to download after clean install.
Not necessary, but before clean install, It’s better to download IDM, and Google Chrome, or Your favorite browser, If you don’t like to use Edge browser.
Driver’s DVD Can Be Used To Install Drivers After Clean Install Windows
You can also use a driver’s DVD. I hope you understand what I want to say.
Make The Internet Connection Metered
Before You download and install drivers, Stop Windows 10 automatic updates by making the internet connection metered. To make internet connection metered, Go to start menu and open settings.
Open network and internet.
Here you will find all internet connections. Click on change connection properties.
As you can see metered connection option is disabled. Enable it to make it metered.
Exit and let’s move to the next step.
Find Out The Brand, Model Number And System Type
To download drivers, Make sure You know system type, brand name and model number of your desktop PC or laptop.
To find out the model number, Go to start menu and just type in System information.
Click on system information.
Here You can find system type, brand name and model number of your desktop PC or laptop.
Download Drivers Using The Google Uncle
Now Search for drivers in Google.
Download required drivers, according to system type. My laptop is 64bit and I am going to download drivers for 64bit system type.
Download And Install 7Zip
After download drivers, Install 7zip 32 or 64Bit version according to your system type. You can download from here
Right click on the downloaded driver and extract it with 7Zip.
Open the folder where you’ve extracted all files. Here you will find a setup file. Run the setup to install drivers.
Congratulations, We’ve managed to manually install the required drivers.
