However, it’s important to note that results may vary, and the software may not work as well for everyone. That’s why we suggest trying out the free version first before investing in the Pro version. This will give you an idea of its capabilities and ensure that it meets your specific data recovery needs.
Downsides Of Wise Data Recovery
No Option To Scan A Single Folder
It would be fair to say that 80% of data loss cases occur in Desktop and Documents folders. You can save a lot of time by scanning these folders or any other specific folder.
In Wise Data Recovery free and pro versions, There is no option to scan a particular folder. You have to scan a whole partition for data recovery. Scanning a single or multiple partitions takes a while depending on the size, speed, and health.
No Save Session Option In Wise Data Recovery
There is no option to save scan sessions in the pro and free versions. Assume there is a 500GB partition and scanning takes 3 hours. Once the scan is complete, you can search for the data you need in the scan results. But You cannot resume the scan results, if you go back or shut down your PC. The next time, you will need to spend 3 hours scanning 500GB again.
If you want to recover images, you can save time by using the preview option. You can preview the photo before recovering it. Previewing photos in 4K or other high resolutions is not possible with this preview option. Photo previews are available for 10MB files.
